So much joy, bittersweet happiness. It was a beautiful day for a wedding.

E’s father was sorely missed. E and the entire Nelson family knows Double L was watching from up above. Many tears of sadness have been shed in the past year, but this day the family shed tears of joy… and perhaps Double L was doing the same.

The beautiful day full of heart, happiness, and most of all family support, took place at Calamigos Ranch in Malibu, CA. The day was felt by all that joined as the deep love E and Kara share shined brightly throughout. Also, on the day, the lovely Melissa Laudise of LDT Weddings, who planned everything perfectly, from the cake topper to a birthday cake in honor of one of the groomsmen’s birthdays. Lisette’s sister, Denise, claims Lisette was always the sweeter one growing up. And Lisette’s sweet presence lit up the room as all the girls prepared for the big day. Her friends and family were moved to tears — tears of excitement that she will soon be united with her one sweet love, Mike. These tears of excitement, however, could not compare with the tears Mike shed as he admired his gorgeous bride coming down the aisle. He fought to hold himself together, but the anticipation was too much. Mike spent the first portion of the ceremony in sniffles trying to gather himself….Was he really going to wed this stunningly beautiful bride?

In his words: ABSOLUTELY.

The vows could not come quicker for the two lovebirds and they were soon pronounced husband and wife, both anxious to begin the evening as Mr. and Mrs. The dance floor couldn’t get enough of Lisette and Mike, especially after she changed into her evening wedding gown. Still stunning, of course. It’s breathtaking to watch how much the two adored each other’s every move. They also had an original Spanish dancer performing during dinner….I don’t know, though, Mike’s flirtatious dance moves (come hither) into the camera may have been more original… (Lisette, you know what I’m talking about!) And all the while, Lisette just keeps on dancing — still wearing that sweet smile. And the debate continued today… is Lisette still the sweeter sister? Denise and I decided this is still up for debate. In either conclusion, Mike, you’re a lucky man! And Lisette, don’t deny you’re a lucky woman!

Stacey and JF at Wrigley Field

This weekend I went to Chicago and celebrated two of my clients, Stacey and JF. I have known Stacey’s family since I was young, so it was really fun to spend some time with the family. Like any Bachelor/Bachelorette weekend, we had events each day and the weekend flew by. Saturday, we attended the Cubs game and were able to get down on the field for photos…. We were rollin with connections! Here are some of the pics from the bride and groom to be at Wrigley Field. We are all looking forward to their weekend in September. Okay, this post is a little different than my wedding videos, but I just have to post the adorable new babies in my life. Last week my sister-n-law gave birth to Scottlyn Mae, my first niece and she is gorgeous! Above are two pics of her…the color pink is one thing she will never be without, that is for sure!! She seems to love sleep, but from what I remember at that age, so did I! Well, the day Scottlyn was born was quite a crazy one…It started at 4am at the hospital, in Corona, with my family. Labor kicked my sister-n-law’s butt until about 1:30pm when baby Scottlyn finally decided she was ready to be born. We celebrated and welcomed her to the family…Meanwhile, my best friend was in labor as well, in Woodland Hills. She was also due anytime and her child (we didn’t know boy or girl at this point), is set to be my first Godchild….so I had to be there for his/her arrival also! I snuck out of Corona Hospital at 3p and fought traffic through LA to get to Woodland Hills by 6p. I said hi to Katie and got the boot 10 minutes after arriving as her baby was now ready to shoot out. By 7:30pm, Katie gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, who her and Hef named, Chaden Mae (below). And somehow, I got to be a part of both births…my first niece and my first Goddaughter…Oh, and no my brother and my best friend did not know they had the same middle names picked out! Two new beautiful babies in my life…What an amazing gift!! Or two.
